Threads has no screen that lists, out of the people you follow, who doesn't follow you back. But Meta's official data export for your Threads profile contains both lists — everyone who follows you, and everyone you follow — and comparing them answers the question in one pass. You can do it today from one export, without giving a third party your password or account access.
That is a different question from "who unfollowed me," which needs two snapshots over time. This guide covers the one-snapshot version.
Does Threads show who doesn't follow you back?
No. Threads currently gives you a followers list and a following list and nothing that cross-references them. There is no follow-back filter, no sort, and no marker on the accounts that don't follow you.
Checking by hand works on a small account and collapses on a large one. You open each profile you follow and look for yourself in their following list — at a few hundred following, that's a few hundred taps with no way to keep your place. Instagram has the same structural problem: who doesn't follow me back on Instagram.
How do I get my Threads follower and following lists?
Threads data is a separate export request from Instagram — requesting your Instagram data does not include it.
- Open Accounts Center: in Threads, profile → menu → Settings → Accounts Center. The web works too.
- Go to Your information and permissions → Export your information → Create export.
- Select your Threads profile, not your Instagram profile. This is the step people miss.
- Choose Customize information (or Some of your information on older builds) and enable Threads.
- Set Date range to All time and Format to JSON.
- Create the export, complete Meta's security check, and wait for the notification.
- Download the ZIP from Accounts Center in a web browser. Meta currently gives you four days.

How do I compare the lists?
It's a set difference: everyone you follow, minus everyone who follows you. Whatever is left doesn't follow you back.

No. The two questions need different amounts of data.
- Not Following Back — "who do I follow that doesn't follow me?" Needs one snapshot. Answerable right now.
- Unfollowers — "who used to follow me and stopped?" Needs two snapshots over time.
